Yes to all of that. This work is a rare one in that the cliche "embarrassment of riches" is not only appropriate, but somehow insufficient. Taking it on a song-by-song level, or as an encompassing achievement, isolating each individual musician's contributions, looking at it lyrically, conceptually.....it's the summation of everything PT was capable of, and I'm still in awe that he had not only the vision but the energy and obsession to pull it off.
